Welcome to the SERCT-SMR Internet and the Arts Home Page

The six arts strands in the curriculum (disciplines) are Dance, Drama, Graphic Communication, Media, Music and Visual Arts. You will find links to these areas by clicking on the strand link.
Each strand has substrands - Creating, Making and Presenting, Arts Criticism and Aesthetics and Past and Present context, and we have included many useful sites that relate to these substrands.

I have endeavoured to place links to each of these substrands into the individual strand area.
Sites which have several arts areas listed, or are more general and and relate to several (or all) strands have been placed in the General Arts Links page.

Although many artists are featured in the General Arts Links page there is a page of Artist links.

The Lessons and Activities page features many resources that are useful to teachers.
