Hunt
"Carpet Hunt" is an online activity where the students click
on plants or animals to find out about them. When they are finished,
they click the links at the bottom of the page to answer three questions
about the plants and animals in the carpet. Learn more about the carpet

of discussion may include, but are certainly not limited to, adornment
and regalia, symbols and attributes, icons, religious narrative, gesture
and pose, action and inaction, color, pattern, techniques of artistic
production.

are two art related interactive exercises for students. These introductory
lessons have an interesting approach in teaching design elements and art
history. This site is a great example of using the Internet for more than
collecting resources.

(Year 4 and up) gets 'sucked' into a painting by a famous artist.Teachers'
Resources are included. This is an example of how students can be active

This is a great place for art teachers and students to start with. It
contains an Internet classroom, most works produced are computer generated.
aft Stuff includes arts links and downloads. Art Lessons range from preschool
to year 12. Teachers can submit their favorite lessons.

- National Arts and Education Information Network
This site aims to link the arts and eduction through technology, so is
a good jumping off place to find lesson plans which integrate the arts
across KLAs. The Curriculum Studio includes curriculum units, lesson plans,
activities and other ideas for integrating the arts into classroom teaching.
Each subject area also includes a link to instructional resources available
through other websites, and to web links in the Web Spotlight area that
relate to a particular topic.
KinderArt
Art Education
KinderArt K-12 is your gateway to teaching resources available online.
The site includes a section for new and student teachers but also includes
many terrific sites for established educators as well. In addition, KinderArt
K-12 brings free quality lesson plans for subject areas across the curriculum.
Eyes on
Art
This site aims to introduce junior secondary students to different styles
and philosophies behind art.There are six branches of Eyes on Art. The
activities are designed to lead in a progression. Instructions for students
are found on the Web site for each activity. Included are overviews and
justifications that teachers may want to keep in mind while using the
particular activities.
